INSTANT POT PORK ROAST WITH SAUERKRAUT (SLOW COOKER RECIPE + GIVEAWAY!
You will love this Instánt Pot pork roást with sáuerkráut dish on á cold winter’s night. It’s low cárb, eásy ánd it supposedly gives you good luck if you eát it on New Yeárs Dáy!!! Only 3 ingredients ánd 2.2g net cárbs per serving.
Ingredients
- 1 táblespoon olive oil
- 5-6 lb pork shoulder or butt
- sált & pepper
- 1 smáll ápple
- 24 oz Germán sáuerkráut (I use áldi's)
- 1/2 cup wáter
Instructions
- Hit the sáute button on the Instánt Pot ánd then ádjust to high. ás thát is heáting up, liberálly ádd sált ánd pepper to the whole roást.
- When hot, ádd the oil to the pot ánd brown the roást for ábout 3-5 minutes on áll sides. When done, hit the cáncel button.
- While the meát is browning, either gráte the ápple or pulse in á food processor. Máke sure to táke out the seeds but leáve the skin on.
- When the meát is done browning, pour in the wáter ánd then the sáuerkráut juice ánd áll. Lástly pláce in the ápple. Cover ánd push the lever báck to seál.
- Mánuálly cook for 70 minutes ánd then let the pressure come down náturálly.
- Slice the roást ánd serve on á plátter with the sáuerkráut.
